Brian Soloman's Biography
I am a native of Traverse City and began my career in the financial services industry in
1999 immediately after receiving my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Honors).
I was afforded the opportunity to work and train in such places as the World Trade Center
in New York, NY, and the Comerica Tower in Detroit, MI. I have extensive experience as a
financial advisor and have, throughout my 10 year career, managed in excess of $100 million in both
commercial and private client assets. Along the way I have been recognized with numerous
awards for both production and ethical practices to include Top Producer, Kite and Key
Award, and Executive Club Member.
In the wake of 9/11, I became fixated on serving my country, and shortly after, I left my practice to serve in the United States Army. After a tour of duty in Iraq, I returned home to my wife and four children, and began my transition back to the planning industry.
During my sabbatical, I contemplated my return to the industry, and emerged in a far more focused and specialized role allowing me to service a more select group of clients. My personal mission is to assist my clients by continually educating them in making informed financial planning decisions that will allow them to accumulate and protect their wealth. My total wealth management approach allows my clients to invest conservatively, reduce their exposure to taxes and meet their insurance needs, and it provides a plan to successfully transfer their wealth to their children and grandchildren. I remain fiercely independent, utilizing only the most highly rated instruments and tailoring them to meet the unique needs of my clients. By aligning myself with the largest, most experienced and financially sound companies on the street, I have unequivocally set myself apart from the competition.
